
The credit for the ceasefire that brought the Indo-Pak war to an end has been claimed by US president, Donald Trump. However, both nuclear nations realized quite early in the conflict that it was best to stop fighting and focus on their respective economies. The good news is that the ceasefire has stayed in place over the Line of Control that separates Kashmir – a region claimed by both nations. Now as the summer months get into full swing, tourists are flocking from different parts of Pakistan and overseas to view the scenic Neelum Valley. Bordered by tall mountains, clear sparkling rivers and fresh air, the valley is described by tourists as “heaven on earth.”
