
Some 3,000 traders from the Chaman border have been stranded in Afghanistan despite holding valid passports and NIC cards, following the war like situation on the Af-Pak border. These traders crossed the border before Pakistan began its attack on TTP hideouts, but have now become hostages to the situation. Their families are awaiting the return of these wage earners, who are living in poor conditions on the Afghan side of the Chaman border.
