War has ravaged much of the Middle East, sending tourists to the scenic mountains of Gilgit Baltistan. Here visitors from Europe, South East Asia and overseas Pakistanis enjoy adventure sports like hang gliding, car racing and climbing mountains. Visitors interviewed by JB Connects spoke about the peace and serenity in this region, which has traditionally welcomed people from all corners of the world. In particular, they are impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the local people. A sense of security has returned to GB, allowing hundreds to visit its breathtaking sites every day.
