Pakistan has demanded that Iran hunt down the perpetrators of seven Pakistani laborers killed in Sistan province on April 12, in order give justice to victim families. The Punjabi mechanics were working in a car workshop in Meherestan district, 230 km from the Pak-Iran border, when they were sprayed by unidentified gunmen. The bodies of the victims were flown by Pakistan to Bahawalpur, where mourning families spoke about how they lost their breadwinners. In the past few months, the Baloch Liberation Army has stopped buses traveling to and from the province to check the ID cards of passengers. Those found to be from the Punjab have been isolated and shot by the BLA.
