Pakistan has introduced a robotic teacher, at a private school in Karachi, who is answering questions on various subjects raised by the students.
Launched on April 26, 2024, at Happy Palace School, the Artificial Intelligence teacher was designed and developed in Pakistan over the last eight months.
With her long blond hair, the AI teacger is named Annie after the school’s Vice Principal.
Annie interacts with students in Urdu, English, and other languages answering their questions from science to history, in real time, without the need for external references
The initiative was driven by the need to bridge Pakistan’s gap in AI education and prepare students to compete on a global stage.
By integrating cutting-edge AI technology, the robotic teacher represents a step toward modernizing education and inspiring a new generation of tech-savvy learners.
