In the dusty terrain of Balochistan, where children are unable to go to school, one motivated person has found a way around it.

In Kohlu, a young man, Baz Mohammed Marri has undertaken to load books on the backs of the camel and to visit door to door to take children along for the school.

They proceed to sit below trees, where the children learn to read, write and acquire respect for the environment.

It is a difficult journey, especially as in conservative areas, girls are not allowed to go to school.

However, Marri has managed to persuade parents to let their young ones enjoy sitting under trees, learn from their peers and occasionally going for a camel ride.

Above all, the open air learning lets children develop a sense of responsibility in learning about climate change and how each one impacts the environment.
