
Brown Bear
Deosai National Park Skardu being 13,500 feet above ground, and stretching 358,000 hectares, is the perfect habitat for the brown bear.
While these kinds of bears are found in North America, in Pakistan they’re found in Alpine meadows, in the Northern area’s glaciers and a few in Khunjerab National Park, Chitral.Given their habitat in Deosai, they’re also referred to as the Himalayan Brown Bears.
The bears eat greens but also tend to be carnivorous.
in 1993, When this area was given the status of a national park, the number of brown bears was very low, but due to the cooperative conservation of the Department of Wildlife and the local community ,The number of brown bears is constantly increasing.
The Locals and Animal Lovers are requesting the tourists who come to Deosai National Park are don’t disturbing the food chain of wildlife and Secondly the Number of Brown Bears are increase speedily they may enter the Human population and attack human, So Wildlife department needs to take proactive measures
