Empowered by a Brilliant Villager of Balochistan
Bright ideas go a long way in resolving issues for which people normally wait for the government. Hameedullah is one such villager, who lives near Ziarat, and who has
transformed the lives of his community. He studied Youtube and discovered the
best way of converting electricity from the water flowing in nearby streams. As a result, the hydropower project has freed villagers from loadshedding – enabling them to power refrigerators, irons and electricity 24/7. The villagers seek to have more turbines installed to enable greater flow of electricity and transform their surroundings.
