The Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) held a conference at the Arts Council of Karachi on January 8, 2024, to highlight the state of human development in Sindh. Writers, academics, intellectuals and experts shared their views for the betterment of the province and its people. They highlighted the problems people faced by people in Sindh, with a special focus on the floods that had ravaged the province in 2022, drought in Thar, education, health and economic development in Sindh. It provided an opportunity for local Sindhis to interact with the SANA leadership that had arrived from the US to both learn as well as contribute to their homeland.
